The Japanese Iris is a bold addition to any landscape. It can grow as high as 60" and flowers can reach 10" in diameter. Japanese Iris colors include white, red-violet, blue and purple with infinite combinations.

Japanese Iris 'Electric Rays'

From 1966 until 1992 the top award for the Japanese Iris was the Payne Award. From 1993 on, the top award is the Payne Medal. It is awarded to the top Japanese iris as voted by certified judges of the American Iris Society.
