We dig our irises fresh just before shipping, and we strive to ship only quality, true-to-name stock. If you have a concern about a plant (either an error or a plant that does not arrive in good condition), please let us know as soon as you receive it and we will gladly replace it. We cannot be responsible for loss over the winter. Please note that not all plants will bloom the first year after transplanting.
Terms and Conditions
Bearded iris will be shipped bareroot in August. Beardless iris (Japanese, Siberian, etc.) will be shipped moist-packed bareroot in May or September. Actual shipping dates will be determined based on weather and plant readiness. We will notify you of specific ship dates as they approach.
Shipping charges in the shopping cart are for shipments to continental U.S. addresses only. We ship via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Because bearded and beardless iris are shipped at different times of the year, orders for irises requiring multiple shipping dates will incur separate shipping charges.
We do not ship internationally. Please contact us if you have any questions.
You will likely not receive your order right away. We ship live plants that are dug at a time of optimal shipping. This may be several months after you place your order, particularly if you order early in the year. See Shipping, above, for more details.
The color of your iris may not match exactly what you see on our website. We strive to provide true-to-color pictures, but not all monitors and printers are calibrated accurately. Additionally, while some minor color variation occurs naturally, your cultural conditions (e.g., soil, fertilizer, sun, and water) can affect color. Therefore, we do not guarantee an exact color match.
Substitutions will not be made without your permission.
